I am Ashten Ntewak the passionate animal lover behind Lap of Luxury Ltd. Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional, personalized and compassionate care for your furry family members, ensuring both you and your pets feel at ease during your time apart.

Originally from Ontario, I relocated to Edmonton in 2019 after being posted to CFB Edmonton. Now a proud Veteran, I’ve made this vibrant city my home and have found fulfillment in both my personal and professional life here.

As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust to care for your pets with the same love and attention you would.​

I’ve had the joy of living with cats my entire life, and I share my home with two wonderful feline fur babies, Pippen and Axel. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of feline care, and I’ve learned that every pet has its own unique personality and needs. This allows me to provide the customized care that each fur baby deserves.

My journey into pet sitting began after working part-time for a third-party pet sitting company.  I recognized a clear need for more reliable, trustworthy, and professional pet care services. I knew I could do it better—and that's exactly what I aim to deliver.​

I take great pride in my ability to connect with animals, particularly cats, often forming bonds with them quickly and naturally. I find great comfort in their company, and I believe that pets, like family, deserve the very best care.

Above all, our goal is to provide pet parents with worry-free pet care so they can enjoy their time away from home with peace of mind, knowing their pets are in good hands.

Meet Dee Dee

With a long-standing career as an Animal Health Technologist, along with many years providing pet-sitting services to veterinary clients and others, Dee Dee brings both extensive knowledge and heartfelt dedication to caring for your precious pets.

Whether they have complex medical/nutritional requirements or maybe your furry family member would benefit best from a calming presence to ease any anxious behaviours, their well-being is always her top priority.

She is looking forward to discovering each animal’s unique personality and developing a trusting relationship with them, where they feel safe, comfortable and loved.

Meet Jen

​

Jen is a new resident of Edmonton from Toronto. While in Toronto she owned and operated a dogwalking and petsitting business for 8 years!​

Prior to that, she volunteered with a cat rescue group, trapping feral cats in order to get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and whenever possible, adopted out. ​​

She has always been crazy about animals and is looking forward to getting to know your furry family members!
